Digital Coach Smart Kurash Developed in Uzbekistan
This is a project by Nafisa Ravshanova, a student at the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.
The innovative system uses artificial intelligence technologies to conduct a detailed analysis of wrestlers' techniques in martial arts directly during training sessions.
Unlike standard video analysis, Smart Kurash relies on special biomechanical models developed with the participation of the author's scientific mentors. The athlete's movements are tracked in real time—this can be done using a regular smartphone camera or by connecting special sensors.
The digital assistant independently identifies errors in technique and instantly provides hints in the form of visual or voice signals, helping to promptly correct techniques and improve the overall effectiveness of the training process.
