Fairphone has introduced the second version of its wireless headphones, Fairbuds 2. The device retains the brand's key advantage—high repairability—while now offering better sound quality and increased battery life.

The headphones have been completely redesigned: a new look with wider stems and two color options—black and green. The charging case has become more compact: 37% smaller and 32% lighter than the previous model.

The battery life of the Fairbuds 2 has nearly doubled. Without active noise cancellation, the headphones last up to 40 hours with the case. Without the case, the battery life is 8 hours, and with noise cancellation, it is 6 hours. A full charge via USB Type-C takes about two hours.

The headphones are equipped with 11-mm bio-cellulose drivers. The active noise cancellation technology has been improved, support for the LDAC codec and the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously have been added. The sound can be customized via an equalizer in the mobile app.

Fairbuds 2 are already available for order in Europe for €99. In the U.S., the new model will cost $119.
