Microsoft Terminates Lease Agreement with Nscale for 23,000 Nvidia AI Chips

Nscale plans to list its shares in the U.S., valuing the business at up to $35 billion. Long-term agreements with major technology players are particularly important for financing the company's investments in computing infrastructure. However, the site now has no other publicly named clients, and Microsoft was supposed to be the main lessee.

Over 40% of Nscale's contractual revenue, amounting to $103 billion, comes from Microsoft; it is assumed that the UK facility accounts for a small portion of this sum. Other major clients include Anthropic.
