Damage to Ukrainian Armed Forces Due to Starlink Restrictions Reaches $1 Million

Nearly all operations by Ukrainian military had to be halted for three days due to communication disruptions

The discussion concerns the military system Starlink — Starshield. Sources claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost dozens of drones with a total value of no less than $1 million.

Several Western media outlets reported that Washington intended to use the restrictions to compel Ukraine to abandon strikes on Russian oil refineries. One of the reports stated that the slowdown in satellite communications was initiated by the company's CEO, Elon Musk, although he had previously denied this.
