Fallout Day 2026: Key Announcements from Bethesda’s Fan Event

In Fallout Shelter later this year, players will be able to adopt Deathclaw hatchlings. Fallout 76 will receive a free update, World Pets: starting from December 1, players will be allowed to take dogs, cats, Radhogs, and Deathclaws on journeys through the game world. Pets will be able to evolve, unlock bonuses, and new customization options.

For Fallout 4, independent creators released the add-ons FEVer Dreams and Command Override. The first adds a dungeon in the form of a puzzle room, while the second allows players to see the world through a robot's eyes and control it remotely. The Fathomless project, a cosmic horror add-on about diving into an ocean trench, is scheduled for 2027.

The Skyline Valley update for Fallout 76 improves lighting, terrain, and weather, and also introduces a reward hunt via a trading post. Bethesda expanded its collaboration with the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas, brought back the Fallout Cafe at Tower Records in Tokyo, and announced a vote for the flavor of the Nuka Twist drink. The next Fallout Day will take place in Washington in 2027 to celebrate the franchise's 30th anniversary.
