Tomb Raider Remake to Release on 12 February 2027
Lara Croft will battle Atlanteans and turn into gold

At TR30 Derby and MCM London, developers Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, together with publisher Amazon Game Studios, showcased scenes from the remake. These include a puzzle involving a giant Atlas, battles with Atlanteans, and Lara turning into gold after touching the hand of King Midas’s statue.
The remake will not be an exact replica of the original: it will introduce a Focus meter, a skill tree, and crafting. The meter will fill when Lara takes or deals damage and dodges attacks, and once full, it will enable time-slowing and unlock additional acrobatic moves.
The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. Pre-order customers will receive Lara’s costume from the Survivor trilogy, while deluxe and collector’s editions will include 48-hour early access.
Crystal Dynamics also plans to release *Tomb Raider: Catalyst* in 2027. In this game, Lara will journey to Northern India following a mythical catastrophe that awakened ancient secrets and mysterious forces.
