Apple announced a 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M6 chip. Pre-orders start on October 28, and sales begin on November 6. In the U.S., the laptop is priced from $1,999 and is available in silver and 'Space Black' colors.

The M6 chip includes a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU. According to Apple, graphics performance is up to 30% faster, and certain AI tasks are completed up to 25% faster compared to the M5. These figures are based on the company's internal tests and do not guarantee the same performance gains in all applications.

The base unified memory capacity is 16 GB, with a maximum of 32 GB. Memory bandwidth reaches 170 GB/s.

The laptop features a Liquid Retina XDR display with a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits for HDR content. An anti-reflective nano-texture glass option is available. For video calls, a 12 MP Center Stage camera is included.

Ports include three Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, MagSafe 3, an SDXC card slot, and a headphone jack. The device supports connecting up to two external displays.

Apple claims up to 24 hours of battery life, though actual runtime depends on workload and configuration. With a compatible high-power adapter, the battery can be charged to 50% in about 30 minutes.
