Grok Bot Proved Too Expensive Even for Musk
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk confirmed that the weekly limits for Grok Bot were exhausted not due to a failure: the service's maintenance costs were too high relative to its revenue.

Users of X reported that their weekly limit suddenly reached 100%. For some, the indicator rose from 50%, even though they had not used the bot at night. Musk confirmed this in response to a user's question.
In a statement from SpaceX, it is noted that artificial intelligence generates 52% of the company's revenue. The renamed division, Super Intelligence, earned a profit of $431 million, while one-time expenses for the purchase of Cursor amounted to $1.2 billion.
Musk has not yet specified how the limits will change for subscribers. Meanwhile, he continued to claim that Grok Bot can help buy gifts for family.
