Todd Howard announced the game’s name. Before the logo appeared, a short teaser showed a scroll covered in sand, while after the logo there was text mentioning Hammerfell and the year 206 of the Fourth Era.

If this date refers to the time period in which the game is set, the events of Sentinel would take place 5 years after Skyrim. Bethesda has not yet revealed a release date or shown a full trailer; the game remains in development several years after its initial announcement in 2018.

Recent reports suggest that the RPG will be set in Hammerfell, a region with a vast desert. There is also a theory that the plot will focus on the history of the Elder Scrolls themselves, but Bethesda and Xbox have not disclosed any details.
