Screen and joystick on your finger: Aina unveils ring for AI control
The AI Ring features a microphone, speaker, and small display. The manufacturer suggests using it for voice requests to AI agents, dictation, and controlling connected devices.

Startup Aina has introduced the AI Ring, a smart ring designed for interaction with digital devices and AI assistants. Instead of focusing on health, which is typical for such gadgets, the developers have prioritized app control.
According to the company, the built-in microphone allows users to dictate notes, create reminders, and send requests to AI agents. For Mac computers, dictation is supported via Wispr Flow or Aina’s own speech recognition system.
A small screen displays notifications and app information. A joystick is included for navigation, and gestures can be assigned to specific actions. Among the advertised use cases are controlling music, Apple TV, the microphone, and the camera during video conferences. The microphone and speaker are also intended for phone calls via a connected smartphone.
Aina founder Apurv Shankar explains that the device was created to enable faster task delegation to AI agents and confirmation of their actions.
The early pre-order price is $399, with plans to increase it to $499 later. The company expects to begin the first shipments in January 2027.
